The AAT1149 is a high efficiency, low dropout linear regulator designed for handheld devices. It can deliver up to 400mA of output current and has a low dropout voltage of 300mV at full load. The device is available in a tiny SC70JW-8 package, making it ideal for space-constrained applications.

The AAT1149 is designed for high efficiency and low dropout voltage. To achieve the best performance, it is recommended to use a 10uF ceramic capacitor at the input and a 10uF ceramic capacitor at the output.
The device should be mounted on a PCB with a thermal pad to improve heat dissipation. The input and output capacitors should be placed as close as possible to the device.
The device has a built-in over-temperature protection circuit that will shut down the device if the junction temperature exceeds 150°C. The device will automatically restart when the temperature drops below 120°C.
