The AAT3223 is a low dropout linear regulator designed for handheld devices. It provides a high accuracy output voltage with low noise and high power supply ripple rejection. The device is available in a small SOT23-6 package, making it ideal for space-saving applications.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Input Voltage | 5.5V |
| Operating Temperature | -40°C to 85°C |
| Storage Temperature | -40°C to 150°C |
| Parameter | Condition | Min | Typ | Max | Unit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Output Voltage Accuracy | TA = 25°C | ±1.5% | ±2% | ±3% | % |
| Line Regulation | VIN = 2.5V to 5.5V | 0.1 | 0.2 | 0.3 | mV |
The AAT3223 is designed for use in handheld devices and other portable electronics. It is recommended to use a 1μF ceramic capacitor at the input and a 2.2μF ceramic capacitor at the output for stability.
The device should be mounted on a printed circuit board with adequate thermal dissipation. The input and output capacitors should be placed as close as possible to the device.
The device has a thermal shutdown protection feature that will turn off the output if the junction temperature exceeds 150°C. The device will automatically recover when the junction temperature drops below 120°C.
