The AAT3697 is a highly integrated, high-frequency, synchronous buck converter designed for high-performance applications. It operates from an input voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and can deliver output currents up to 2A. The device features a fixed-frequency PWM control with an adjustable switching frequency between 200kHz to 2MHz, allowing for optimization of the converter’s efficiency and external component size.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Input Voltage | 5.5V |
| Operating Temperature | -40°C to 85°C |
| Storage Temperature | -40°C to 150°C |
| Parameter | Condition | Min | Typ | Max | Unit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Output Voltage Accuracy | VIN = 3.6V, IOUT = 1A | 0.5% | 1% | 1.5% | % |
| Efficiency | VIN = 3.6V, VOUT = 1.8V, IOUT = 1A | 85% | 90% | 92% | % |
When designing with the AAT3697, consider the input and output capacitors for optimal performance. The input capacitor should be placed as close as possible to the device’s input pins, and the output capacitor should be selected based on the desired output voltage ripple and load transient response.
The AAT3697 is available in a TDFN33-12 package. For proper mounting, ensure the device is securely soldered to the PCB, following the recommended soldering guidelines to prevent damage to the device or the board.
The AAT3697 features an enable pin that allows the device to be turned on or off. When the enable pin is pulled low, the device enters a low-power shutdown mode, significantly reducing the quiescent current and power consumption.
